4 months

sophie is 4 months old today. i can't believe that she is that old, but to be honest it seems like she was born 2 years ago! but seriously the bigger they get, the more fun they are. now she is less work and more fun. we took her to the doctor today and she got her shots :( i hate that. everyone else i see posts about how their babies are in the 99th percentile for height and weight blah blah blah, but not my little teeny sophie. she is 50th percentile for height (average) and a 45% for weight which is a little below average. what a cute tiny girl! just like her mommy hahahha. here are a few things about sophie (i do this so i can put it in her scrapbook when i finally get caught up)

-she laughs now and it's the most precious sound ever!

-she still sucks her thumb..... but hey if it makes her be good then whatever!

-we are going to give her some rice cereal tomorrow! hope she likes it!

-she can roll from her belly to her back, but not her back to her belly.

-probably because she hates to be on her belly.

-she can reach for and hold toys.

-she farts.... all the time.... and they stink!!!

-she loves patty cake.

-she doesn't scoot or crawl or roll around, but somehow she can move around. i think it's by squirming. i once put her on a small blanket on the floor, went in the other room for 10 minutes, came back and she was about 5 feet off the blanket!

- she likes to watch little einsteins

-she still loves music.

-she talks all the time and goos and gaas i love it.

-she wears 6-9 month clothing, and a few 3 month things still.

-size 2 diapers. i still haven't had to buy any diapers myself yet. awesome!

-she weighs 12 lbs 7 oz and is 24 inches tall

-she doesn't cry in the car seat anymore

-she likes to pull my hair

-she is STILL a daddys girl

-she likes to be outside and go on hikes in her snuggie!

Holy cow! She is just a little thing! Cute though!

By the way. I don't know if you've ever heard of Blurb or not, but it's a program that will convert your blog into a book. You can download it for free off of blurb.com. That's what I'm doing for James' "scrapbook" because then I know it'll get done, I'm bad at sitting down and doing crafty things so I know this way he'll have a record of it all. Plus, you're not writing everything down for a 2nd time.
